Behavioral Health at KVH

Mental health and substance use concerns can affect sleep, relationships, work, and daily life. You do not have to handle it all alone. KVH Behavioral Health offers safe, professional, confidential support with dignity and respect, right here in Klickitat County.

Eligibility to be seen at KVH Behavioral Health

To schedule with KVH Behavioral Health, patients must either:
We offer services for adults, teens, or families, as needed.

  • Have a KVH primary care provider (PCP), or
  • Be referred through the KVH Emergency Department

With your permission, your behavioral health clinician and primary care provider coordinate your care plan. That means your care can feel more connected, and you do not have to repeat your story more than necessary.

How We Can Help

Our team can support you with short-term counseling and practical tools for real life. Need for support may include:

  • Stress, anxiety, and depression
  • Life changes, grief, and relationship concerns
  • Trauma and psychosis
  • Support for alcohol, opioids, methamphetamine, and other substance use concerns
  • Recovery support
  • Coping with chronic illness, pain, or health diagnoses
  • Care planning and referrals to community partners

If you are not sure whether behavioral health is the right fit, call and ask. We can help you decide what next step makes sense. If KVH does not offer the right level of care for your needs, we will make a referral to trusted care providers in the region.

Insurance

KVH Behavioral Health accepts most health insurance plans. In many cases, you can start by talking with your primary care provider, or you can call Family Medicine and ask about behavioral health.
