Property Tax Credit at KVH

If you pay property taxes in the Klickitat County Hospital District, you may be able to use a property tax credit to help with your KVH bill.

This is one way KVH helps keep care close to home and more affordable for our community.

The credit applies the hospital levy amount you paid on your property tax bill toward what you owe for KVH services, up to $500 per year.

How the Credit Works

If you use KVH services, KVH can apply a credit based on the hospital district levy you paid through property taxes.

Example: If your property tax bill shows you paid $300 for the hospital levy, and you have a KVH balance, you may be able to apply that full $300 toward your KVH balance.

What the Credit Can Be Used For

The property tax credit can be applied to balances owed for KVH services, up to $500 in one year.

What the Credit Cannot Be Used For

Property tax credits may not be used for cash pay discounted services such as:

  • Wellness Days labs or scans
  • DOT exams
  • Toenail trimming
  • Sports physicals
