Comfort in a Time of Struggle
Complete patient care, including spiritual care, has always been the goal at KVH. Spiritual care supports patients and loved ones with listening, presence, and comfort, and offers space for reflection for people of any faith or tradition.
Interfaith Chapel
Klickitat Valley Health’s Interfaith Chapel is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for patients, families, visitors, and staff who would like a quiet place to pray, reflect, or meditate.
To support privacy and respect for others, signage is available to indicate when the chapel is in use. Please use the occupied/unoccupied sign as needed.
Spiritual care is available to support patients and loved ones during a hospital stay. Support may include a listening presence, encouragement, and, if desired, prayer or reflection, as well as help navigating difficult moments or decisions.
Spiritual Care Support
You are welcome to request spiritual care at any time. Your nurse or care team can help arrange support based on your needs, preferences, and beliefs.
During serious illness, end-of-life care, or times of loss, spiritual support may be offered by the care team and is also available upon request. Bereavement support may be available for families coping with the death of a loved one, including support and guidance with next steps.
End-of-Life and Bereavement Care
To request end-of-life or bereavement support while at KVH, please ask a member of your care team.
