Jennifer Hedden, MD
Dr. Jennifer R. Hedden, MD is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with more than a decade of experience providing full-spectrum care in both outpatient and hospital settings. She has practiced at Adventist Health Tillamook since 2013 and is recognized for her clinical excellence, leadership, and commitment to medical education and community health.
Dr. Hedden has served in multiple medical leadership roles, including President, Vice President, and Secretary of the Medical Executive Committee, as well as on the Credentials Committee. From 2018 to 2020, she served on the Hospital Board of Directors as Medical Staff President, representing clinicians in strategic planning and quality care initiatives.
A graduate of the Grand Rapids Family Medicine Residency Program, Dr. Hedden is deeply committed to teaching and mentorship. She regularly precepts medical and physician assistant students from institutions including Oregon Health and Science University and provides community education on topics ranging from diabetes management to palliative care.
Dr. Hedden earned her Doctor of Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Arizona State University. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and holds active medical licensure and DEA certification in Oregon, with current ACLS, BLS, and NALS certifications.
Her clinical interests include preventive care, women’s health, geriatrics, pediatrics, and medical education. She performs a wide range of in-office procedures, including skin biopsies, joint injections, splinting, circumcisions, and women’s health services.
