Sam Donohoe
Sam Donohoe, MD
Dr. Sam Donohoe, MD is an Internal Medicine Physician with a broad- scope of experience in adult internal medicine with a focus on acute care (inpatient/hospitalist) medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of Washington and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California at San Diego. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and is a member of the American College of Physicians (ACP). Dr. Donohoe currently practices in and oversees the acute care (inpatient/hospitalist) medicine service at Klickitat Valley Hospital.
He also serves as the medical director of the hospice program at Klickitat Valley Health. Additionally Dr. Donohoe currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Klickitat Valley Health and serves on multiple committees within the organization. Dr. Donohoe’s professional interests include the application of evidence-based research into clinical practice and also the incorporation of shared decision making with patients in the formulation of patient care plans.

Outside of medicine Dr. Donohoe enjoys spending time with his family including his wife and two teenagers, reading, and spending time outdoors hiking, mountain biking, and surfing.
