Jennifer Bomberger, CMHP

Jennifer Bomberger serves as the Behavioral Health Supervisor for Family Medicine at Klickitat Valley Health. She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Pacific University and is a licensed Mental Health Counselor. Jennifer is an active member of the Washington Mental Health Counselor Association.

Her therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with ongoing professional development in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, and Collaborative Problem Solving. Jennifer works with clients on a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, abuse, life transitions, stress management, self-esteem challenges, and dysfunctional behavioral patterns.

Jennifer describes her therapy style as personable and laid-back, incorporating humor to create a welcoming environment. She believes that effective therapy depends on a genuine, trustworthy connection between client and therapist. As she puts it, “I do not think therapy should be miserable or stale. Therapy is successful when a client and therapist truly connect and form a relationship that is trustworthy.”
