Russell Smith, MD

Dr. Russel Smith, MD earned his medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine and is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Physician Specialties (ABPS), where he serves as a National Board Diplomate. This certification reflects his mastery of core competencies and dedication to ongoing professional development in emergency medicine.

He currently practices in the Emergency Department at Klickitat Valley Health and serves as the Medical Program Director for EMS and Trauma Systems in Klickitat County. Dr. Smith holds medical licenses in both Oregon and Washington.

In addition to his clinical and leadership roles, Dr. Smith has a strong commitment to global medical service. His volunteer work has taken him abroad as a Pioneer Trek Physician and Camp Physician, with missions spanning Ethiopia, Borneo, and the jungles of the Peruvian Rainforest.
